What's wrong with Rhode Island?
Operation Clean Government held a forum last Saturday where a panel attempted to diagnose what is wrong with Rhode Island. Everyone kept beating around the bush. No one mentioned voter apathy--and no one mentioned corruption (which I think leads to voter apathy). Why does corruption lead to voter apathy? Voters who constantly believe that nothing they do will make a difference will feel hopeless about changing anything and then just give up and become apathetic.

It's rainy
I do not like going out in the rain to take care of my daily business, especially since it's more than once a day.
It's a metaphor for those politicians who feel that they can tell you what to do thereby raining on you whenever you try to go about your daily business.

Providence Tea Party
What a wonderful tea party in Providence!! A beautiful day! Invigorating speeches!
Here's the link to the news story on ABC 6 - http://www.abc6.com/news/40358162.html
My mommy's comments follow the tea party organizer's. The chick who said that we only want President Obama to fail is completely wrong and uninformed. We just want some responsible government--not giant government.

Happy Easter
I really enjoyed seeing my cousin this weekend. Ares came up to visit with his people. I loved seeing him and Achilles. And Elanor is, of course, the best. She and her sister are lots of fun to play with. I really like them. And now, I really miss them.

Pray for Italy
This Italian earthquake has really taken a toll. Keep praying for the victims, their families, and the emergency workers.
