This light shines in the darkess, but can it shine through the fiscal woes that we are only beginning to see? The Cap and Trade Law that the Representatives passed last night will add to the cost of anything that requires energy. Added to this will be the higher taxes that it will take to fund the bureaucracy necessary to administer it. Then there will be the corruption where politicians will help their friends and campaign donors get carbon credits with the costs filtered down into the higher costs for the products and services we buy. Of course, the world will praise the administration for passing this -- it gives them the competitive advantage.
